If you’re not already aware I’ve released my very first, hugely successful 25 page Photography Made Simple: Tips & Techniques e-book of which has sold over 200+ copies to date.
I’ve taken photography quite seriously for at least 3/4 years now. I was greatly inspired by lots of art sites to invest in my first DSLR camera. It was only a beginner camera (Nikon D40) and I was on a budget but I improvised and reached new heights with the equipment that I had, and I went on with this camera for at least 2 years because I didn’t want to upgrade. My little baby DSLR was more than enough for me.With numerous people asking what camera I had, what lens I was using, and how I got that particular result, it made me feel as though I was doing something right. I was helping to inspire people and that alone just made me want to go further. That was one of the first photography lessons I learnt; it really doesn’t matter what camera you have. Most DSLR’s have all the options and tools you need to create a masterpiece… and I know from personal experience.
However, when the Nikon D90 came out I fell inlove with it. It was a camera for intermediates and I felt after 2 years I was definitely in that category so I sold my Nikon D40 & kit lenses, and purchased the lovely D90. After 2 years of the D40 I wanted to experiment with bigger and better things and the D90 ticked all the boxes. I then sold that and moved onto the Canon 7D… about to move onto the Canon 5d mk ii.
In the 3/4 years I’ve been doing photography I’ve learnt so much. I’m completely self-taught in every aspect. The big thing with me is that I was inspired so much to try different things, so I did! I experimented with all the options on the camera, searching for a way to improve my photography and it’s paid off. I’ve learnt so, so much and even today I still continue to learn.
I’ve had so many people come to me and ask for tips, what certain options mean on their camera, what ISO means and why you would use it etc. I figured I’d put my knowledge into simple words and help everyone who needs it. So I wrote a book and explained everything in the most simple and easy way I could think of. I even refer to this e-book myself every so often just to keep everything fresh in my mind.
With easy explanations of unique but simple ways of taking a photograph this e-book really will take your photography to new heights. You don’t have to be a professional to take stunning photographs, a 10 year old could do it if she knew how.
